
Hi, I'm Micah!​
NWI-based (by way of Chicago), I’m an art director, digital strategist, and storyteller who brings visions to life through thoughtful design and social-first strategy. My work sits at the intersection of creativity and clarity where art direction becomes an experience, not just an aesthetic.
With a foundation in UX and experience design, I lead with empathy and a human-centered lens, shaping brand systems, campaigns, and content that are intentional, intuitive, and grounded in how people actually engage with the world around them.

I’m a hands-on art director who loves bringing ideas to life, from on-site campaigns to immersive digital ecosystems. While I enjoy physical, in-person creative moments, my expertise lives in digital landscapes: end-to-end branding, UX and web experiences, social and content-led campaigns, and scalable design systems. I approach every project through a social-first lens, ensuring strategy, storytelling, and execution are designed for real connection and real reach.

I’m currently the Lead Designer and Senior Content Experimentation & Production Manager at Accelerate Change, where I lead creative direction, build scalable design systems, and guide multidisciplinary teams across social, video, and production.

Beyond my day job, I collaborate with travel and hospitality brands as a photographer and creative partner—capturing spaces, moments, and stories that invite people to slow down and belong.

Rooted in empathy and shaped by my Filipino-American identity, I approach every project with care, curiosity, and conviction. I believe the most meaningful work happens when vision and execution meet and I’m always building toward that balance.​

Here are my 4 steps to intentional and mindful design:
Step 1— Empathy
Phase one in the design process is to ensure that empathy is at the forefront. I believe that when you make the effort to understand the people you’re trying to reach and design from their lens, it creates a profound experience altogether. The goal is to identify patterns, behaviors and pain points of my audience through research, experimentation, and observation.
Step 2— Authenticity
In order to understand all of the complex emotions involved, it's important to pave a path with the goal to build deep audience relationships and deep brand loyalty. I believe in self-reflection for the brand you want to create: what is the purpose, what is the goal and how do we portray its heart and soul to the world? To be authentic is to show your passion through your brand.
Step 3— Strategy & Design
As the ideation process begins, I wholeheartedly believe in honing in on a human-centered strategy— making sure your content is in the right places for the right people. Part of being a holistic-creator is finding success in mindful marketing. In order to create a brand that is set on the path of fruition, we must first be intentional about the problem we’re trying to solve + produce a creative & solution!
Step 4— Experimentation
I believe that everything is an experiment. It isn’t “failing,” it’s learning. By putting ourselves in a growth mindset, we’re able to truly understand what we’re putting out in the world. Not only will we receive more audience feedback, but we’ll make our way towards a plethora of ideas that the world has to offer! In this case, data is our partner. Did I mention that it’s more lean this way?!
