CREATIVE DIRECTION
Homebound is a social-first video series exploring what “home” means beyond a physical place through intimate, on-the-street conversations with BIPOC, immigrant, and creative voices.
Developed as an Instagram-native pilot, the series was designed to test both emotional resonance and format scalability across short-form platforms. Each episode blends personal reflection with cultural context, creating space for stories of migration, displacement, chosen family, and belonging to be shared with care and intention.
At its core, Homebound operates as a bridge between culture and impact. The series centers vulnerability as a form of advocacy, allowing participants to reclaim narrative power while offering audiences a deeper understanding of how social, political, and cultural forces shape our sense of home in a globalized, often fractured world.
The work is grounded in the belief that storytelling can foster connection and preservation and that every story shared is an act of emotional truth, cultural memory, and collective belonging.
RESULTS
Within the first two months, Homebound demonstrated strong and steady audience growth, reaching over 19K+ views and 11K+ likes, with engagement consistently outperforming platform benchmarks. The series achieved an average 12% engagement rate, signaling deep resonance with audiences and validating the show’s format, voice, and long-term potential.
