A digital space where people can stop to learn, be educated and gain empathy on identity& culture in the LGBTQI+ community.
A TikTok experience that aims to help folks learn LGBTQI+ terms in an elementary school teaching style. The 101’s vision is to educate on identities, cultural perspectives and go over terms that help society understand in a fun and modern way.

Inspired by a vintage, varsity school style, I went with a rounded serif font and a muted yet bold color palette that reflects a retro and modern feel to the brand.

TYPOGRAPHY + COLOR​
The use of type and color throughout The 101 identity is sophisticated yet playful and is meant to portray the duality of old and new. By combining the elements of a muted color palette— derived from vintage academia & the rounded serif of Fraunces, this visual identity strives to formulate a balance of retro and modern aesthetic.
Digital Experience
The 101 was proposed to be digital franchise— starting with TikTok and evolving into Instagram.
